Travis has more than 20 years of accounting and finance experience. At hotelAVE, Travis is responsible for executing owner accounting, cash management, loan compliance and participates in our internal control protocols. He also uses his expertise to support the asset management team in the areas of internal controls and procedures, forecasting and cash flow modeling.
Prior to joining hotelAVE, Travis worked as Treasurer for Carpionato Group, a New England real estate developer with hospitality, retail and multi-family holdings where he was responsible for procuring and managing ongoing lender relations and compliance as well as the company’s IT function and all insurance matters.
As Director of Finance and Assistant Division Controller at Davol, a division of Becton Dickinson (a fortune 500 company), Travis handled all accounting matters related to acquisition and license deals, had direct accounting and finance oversight of 5 manufacturing sites and a team of 14 people. He ensured that the appropriate accounting policies and controls existed and were followed at the plants.
Travis started his career at KPMG, a global accounting firm in a Senior Audit Associate capacity and received three awards in three years, ranking in top 10% of all associates.
Interests and Hobbies
Travis enjoys powerlifting, still striving for new personal records. He also enjoys finding new adventures, such as white water rafting, backpacking in the wilderness, ice climbing, zip lining, century bicycle rides, and more.
