Silvie has over 12 years years of hospitality experience and is currently responsible for a portfolio of lifestyle assets, many of which generate equal F&B and rooms revenue. As Senior Vice President, her primary role is to identify value-add strategies from both a revenue and expense standpoint, while ensuring operators utilize best practices to maximize top and bottom lines for both branded and independent hotels, with a focus on the luxury and lifestyle segment. Silvie is fluent in revenue management strategy, tools, and analyses, as well as expense optimization. She has executed multiple operator transitions and successfully managed critical path timelines to execute a business plan for pre-opening and ramp up hotels, expediting their stabilization. Silvie contributes to the firm’s best practices, including development of a dynamic excel model to forecast RevPAR index growth for hotels, as well as the company’s highly dynamic budget template.
- Before joining hotelAVE, Silvie worked for Fenway Enterprises, The Boston Red Sox hospitality department, specializing in selling and servicing events as well as tracking monthly departmental sales
- Silvie was also a Property Management Intern for The Richmond Company where she completed site visits to evaluate tenant’s experience and created general journal entries and reconciled bank accounts on a monthly basis to manage property transactions
Silvie graduated from Cornell University with a Bachelor of Science in Hotel Administration. She is a Certified Hotel Administrator (CHA) and a member of the Hospitality Asset Managers Association (HAMA). Silvie has written multiple articles, including most recently Winning Crucial Group Business (2025), Five Tips to Profit as Pent-Up Demand Finally Emerges (2022), and Top Ten F&B Technology Trends (2021).
