Patrick has more than 20 years of experience in accounting and compliance. As Director of Investment Accounting, he is responsible for accounting and reporting of hotel investments made jointly by individuals of the firm and hotelAVE’s clients. In his capacity, Patrick facilitates all local, state and federal compliance documentation, files all corporate documents, and works with our accounting firm to produce K-1’s and required tax reporting for each entity. Patrick works with the CIO to create LLCs used for investments and with outside counsel to maintain the LLCs in compliance with requirements of each Secretary of State.
In his other duties, Patrick supports hotelAVE’s Corporate Controller and the SVP of Finance and Compliance by providing bookkeeping and accounting support. From 2003 to 2021, Patrick led the firm’s accounting and HR. Prior to joining hotelAVE he was the Secretary and Treasurer of the West Warwick Fire Department’s Local IAFF 1104. where he oversaw the installation of modern accounting practices and computerized record keeping.
