John has more than 10 years of hospitality experience including 8 years at hotelAVE. John is a member of the advisory team and serves as asset manager for a portfolio of full-service hotel properties. His responsibilities as Vice President include leading operational reviews, brand/manager selection, feasibility and strategic planning, sales and revenue management, hotel underwriting, and other advisory/asset management disciplines.
- Prior to joining hotel AVE full-time, John was a summer analyst during which time he created a universal web presence analysis template, enhanced, and restricted the asset takeover manual, and assisted in various analyses of consulting and acquisition projects
- Prior to hotelAVE, he interned with the Nantasket Beach Resort where he worked closely with the Front Desk and Engineering team to streamline communication procedures and maximize operational efficiencies
John graduated form Cornell University with a Bachelor of Science in Hotel Administration, with a Minor in Real Estate. He is a member of Cornell Hotel Society (CHS) and is a Certified Hotel Administrator (CHA). He also holds a Certification in Hotel Industry Analytics (CHIA).
