Cris has 25 years of experience in hotel investments, asset management, residential development, renovations and financing across numerous luxury/lifestyle hotel and resort real estate markets and brands. At hotelAVE, Cris brings his deep relationships and experience to lead an asset management team representing various owner groups.

Prior to joining hotelAVE, Cris worked with Electra America Hospitality Group (a JV with aka Hotels and Residences) executing business planning, financing, renovation and development cost planning.

Cris worked with Mark Scheinberg/Mohari Hospitality group where he led its luxury/lifestyle hotel investment and asset management platform across the Americas and Europe including investments with Waldorf-Astoria, 1 Hotels, Four Seasons, Ritz-Carlton, Hyatt, Discovery Land and the Peninsula Papagayo master-planned resort community in Costa Rica.

While working for Prince Alwaleed/Kingdom Hotels, Cris oversaw hotel real estate and brand investments in Europe and the Americas (anchored by Four Seasons and Fairmont Hotels) and 12 luxury hotels, including the Savoy in London, Fairmont Monte Carlo, Hotel des Bergues and Four Seasons George V.

Cris also worked in both asset management and acquisitions roles for Strategic Hotels and at PwC’s hospitality consulting group.

He is a former member of the Board of Directors of Four Seasons Hotels & Resorts where he chaired the Audit Committee and served on the Compensation Committee. Cris also chaired ULI’s hotel development council in Europe.

Cris graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Hotel Administration from Cornell University with a concentration in Real Estate Finance.
