Teresa has more than 20 years of experience in the hospitality industry, focusing on the real estate sector. Teresa has worked closely with property, regional, and corporate teams to develop and execute strategic plans that drive asset success. As Vice President, Teresa oversees multiple full-service properties, identifying and implementing opportunities to enhance performance and maximize value across all aspects of the hotel.

• Prior to joining hotelAVE, Teresa was Senior Director at Marriott International in their Asset Management, Feasibility, and Analysis group
• Teresa supported the Development and Asset Management teams with underwriting, market and feasibility reviews, brand selection, for over 50 hotels (primarily luxury) in the Americas. She served as asset manager for 11 properties in the U.S. and Mexico
• She identified ROI opportunities to improve hotel’s EBITDA and supported negotiations between owners and Marriott for new hotel development
• Teresa partnered with Ritz-Carlton Operations and Residential VPs to determine an efficient cost operating model for small Ritz-Carlton hotels
• Prior to Marriott International, she was a RE & Hospitality consultant at Deloitte & Touche and a financial analyst in the asset management division of Lodgian Inc

Teresa graduated from Cornell University with a Bachelor of Science in Hotel Administration. Teresa is a member and former treasurer of the Cornell Hotel Society (CHS) and a member, panelist, and moderator of ForWard (AHLA Foundation) – ForWard Thinking.
