Kristen has over 15 years of hospitality and accounting/finance experience. As Senior Vice President of Asset Management, Kristen is the lead Asset Manager on a portfolio of assets and is responsible for exceeding ownership objectives. She has created value for dozens of hotels, identifying and executing strategic opportunities.

• Prior to joining hotelAVE, Kristen was a Vice President of Asset Management at BRE Hotels & Resorts with a portfolio valued at over $1B. She was responsible for achieving targeted returns on investment and was an advisor on asset performance and strategy for properties in the Marriott, Hilton, Hyatt and IHG brand family
• Prior to BRE, Kristen served as Vice President, Asset Management at Apple Hospitality REIT. There she oversaw over 100 Upper Upscale, Upscale and Upper Midscale full service and select-service properties in top 25 U.S. markets and collaborated with multiple third-party operators
• Kristen began her career at KPMG LLP, managing audit engagements for clients with revenues up to $9 billion

Kristen graduated from Purdue University with a Bachelors of Science in Accounting and is a graduate of the Castell Project, a hospitality leadership program for women. She is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) and holds a Certificate in Hotel Real Estate Investments and Asset Management as well as a certificate in Hotel Revenue Management from Cornell University. Kristen is an active member of the Hospitality Asset Managers Association (HAMA) and the Human Resources and Labor Relations Committee (AH&LA).
