Devon has more than 5 years of hospitality experience across hotel operations, real estate lending, and asset management. As an Analyst at hotelAVE, Devon supports multiple senior asset managers on a portfolio of hotels, in addition to the firm’s consulting practice. Devon’s responsibilities include conducting weekly revenue management reviews, underwriting hotel acquisitions, analyzing income statements, and benchmarking properties to determine expense savings
- Prior to joining hotelAVE, Devon interned within Wells Fargo’s Hospitality Finance Group. During this time, he evaluated a portfolio of hotel loans to determine risk, computed appropriate debt service, and analyzed hotel feasibility for a luxury resort through pro forma evaluation
- Devon has also spearheaded multiple sustainability consulting projects for F&B operations across the Finger Lakes region
Devon graduated from Cornell University with a Bachelor of Science in Hotel Administration. He is a member of the Cornell Hotel Society (CHS), Cornell Hotel School Ye Hosts Honor Society (President Emeritus), and founder and ambassador of Out for Business – Cornell’s only pre-professional LGBTQ+ business group. Devon holds a Certification in Hotel Industry Analytics (CHIA), Microsoft Office (MOS), and ServSafe.
