Shannon has over 20 years of expertise in hotel sales and revenue management, food and beverage operations, openings and transitions, and multi-brand strategies. As Vice President of Asset Management, she focuses on top-line revenue management, sales strategy, and strategic asset management, working closely with hotel operating teams and ownership groups. Shannon plays a key role in driving revenue growth and operational excellence.
- Prior to hotelAVE, Shannon served as Vice President of Sales at Aimbridge Hospitality, overseeing 171 hotels, 22,000 keys, 59 owners, and more than $1 billion in total operating revenue. She specialized in full-service and select-service hotel models and represented Aimbridge as a Brand Champion for Hyatt and Marriott. She developed a comprehensive hotel discovery checklist for new hotel onboarding, designed to quickly assess and enhance sales performance, marketing strategy, and expense controls
- Prior to Aimbridge, Shannon served as Vice President of Sales at Prism Hotels & Resorts, where she oversaw a significant portion of the firm’s priority core assets including a very complex rebranding and repositioning of 5 full-service Omni Hotels to Marriott, Westin, Hyatt Regency, Renaissance and Tribute by Marriott. Additionally, Shannon worked closely with Prism’s Balance Sheet Lender, Special Servicer and Private Debt Fund clients on their distressed assets/portfolios to maximize recovery
Shannon is pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from Purdue University and is a member of the Hospitality Sales and Marketing Association (HSMAI). Additionally, Shannon holds certification in Hospitality Management from Cornell University and a Strategic Communications and Negotiations Certificate from University of Washington.
Interests and Hobbies
Shannon enjoys traveling the world and experiencing new cultures, food and the outdoors. She is an avid runner; a 2-time Boston Marathon Qualifier, completing 9 marathons, including Boston, New York and Chicago. It’s the best way to see the city in 26 miles!
