Sebastian has over 5 years of hospitality experience, including hotel operations. As an Associate with hotelAVE, he supports the team in providing asset management services for a portfolio of hotels with a focus on upper-upscale and luxury properties in Latin America and the U.S.

• Prior to joining hotelAVE, Sebastian held roles such as Front Office Manager, Director of Operations and General Manager for franchised Marriott and Hilton-branded properties
• Sebastian was General Manager of the Hampton Inn Ft. Moore and Director of Operations of the Downtown Marriott Hotel in Columbus, Georgia. He also served two years as a graduate analyst at Georgia State University’s Economic Forecasting Center in Atlanta, Georgia, assisting with researching and analyzing economic and market data to prepare forecasts of Georgia and the U.S.

Sebastian graduated from Georgia State University with an MBA with a dual concentration in Hospitality Administration and International Business. Sebastian also holds a BBA in Management Engineering from the EIA University in Medellin, Colombia, his hometown. Sebastian is certified in Hotel Real Estate Investments & Asset Management from Cornell University and holds a Certified Hotel Appraiser (CHA) and Certified Hotel Valuation Software Consultant (CHVSC) designation granted by the International Association of Hotel Appraisers.
