Timothy Laferriere, SVP Accounting and Compliance, has over 30 years of accounting, finance and operations experience in the hospitality and real estate industries. At hotelAVE, Mr. Laferriere is responsible for executing owner and joint venture accounting, cash management, loan compliance, audit oversight and participates in our internal control protocols lead by the firm’s Chief Administrative Officer. He also uses his expertise to support the asset management team in the areas of internal controls and procedures, balance sheet review, transition management, forecasting, cash flow modeling, and labor efficiency analysis.
Mr. LaFerriere’s past experience includes interim CFO of Lake Las Vegas where he converted the Lake Las Vegas from tax accounting to GAAP accounting and created reporting systems for a $780 million financing vehicle from Credit Suisse and syndicate of 15 lenders. He has served as interim Director of Finance for the Waldorf Park City, Hilton Dallas Lincoln Centre, Hilton Dallas Park Cities, Doubletree Minneapolis North, Conrad Chicago, The Drake Hotel and Waldorf Beverly Hills. He has converted the following hotels from decentralized to centralized accounting: DoubleTree Tulsa, DoubleTree Sonoma, Conrad Chicago, and DoubleTree Allen Center. While at Crescent Moon Development Corp, he was responsible for the accounting and finance for a 65 acre development adjoining the Four Seasons Scottsdale.
