Pedro has over 20 years of experience in the hotel sector in LATAM. As a Vice President of Asset Management, he oversees company assignments in LATAM including Mexico.
Prior to joining hotelAVE, Pedro was a Senior Vice President of JLL’s Hotels & Hospitality Group in Brazil where he managed a team that executed advisory, asset management, investment sales and capital raising services.
The asset management portfolio included 35 hotels and resorts. He participated in more than 300 valuations and feasibility studies in Brazil and Latin America for destination resorts, convention centers and mixed-use developments. He also executed many operator selection and management agreement negotiations..
Prior to joining JLL, Pedro worked as Manager, Acquisitions & Development – Brazil for Starwood Hotels & Resorts Worldwide, where he participated in franchise and management agreements negotiations in Brazil and Latin America region and prepared market research and financial analysis for investment opportunities in Brazil and Latin America.
Pedro started his career as sales account executive at the Gran Meliá Mofarrej in São Paulo, Brazil and as a Revenue Management trainee at Marriott Brazil. He also completed hotel operations internships at the Rome Cavalieri Waldorf Astoria in Rome, Italy and at the Hotel Astor in Switzerland.
