Maricarmen Cardenas has over 15 years of experience in hotel management operation in revenue management, digital strategy, and interaction with business development tactical approach. Maricarmen is responsible for revenue maximization and identifying and quantitatively supporting the drive profitability while supporting owners’ financial goals. In addition, she assists asset managers in new asset takeovers, annual budget reviews and goal setting including measurement of revenue upside goals and stabilized RevPAR penetration.
Maricarmen most recently worked with Schulte Hospitality, and prior to that spent nearly a decade with Crescent Hotels & Resorts as the SVP of Revenue and Digital Strategy with a portfolio of 90 hotels in the US and Canada where she was responsible for the strategic implementation and measurement of initiatives for maximum revenue profitability. She developed the Digital Strategy department to create further integration of revenue tactics through digital distribution and served in revenue and digital committees with major brands and preferred partners such as Marriott, Hilton, Expedia Inc. and HSMAI Chief Revenue Officers Table. Maricarmen has also previously worked with Kessler Collection Enterprise as well as Interstate Hotels & Resorts where she co-authored the first Director of Revenue Management School for the company.
