Ana Anez Parilli

Vice President, LATAM

Ana brings her 15 years of hotel asset management, finance and operations experience in Mexico, Argentina, the Dominican Republic, and Puerto Rico to her role as Vice President, LATAM. Ana is responsible for asset managing a portfolio of luxury and all-inclusive hotels/ resorts in Mexico. She works directly with hotel management companies on all  owner-related decisions and activities, including leading the preopening process for new openings, budget review, capital expenditures and business plan execution.

  • Prior to joining hotelAVE, Ana held Director of Finance & Asset Management roles at Rodina, a family office who tripled its hotel real estate portfolio during her three-year tenure. Her portfolio included the Viceroy Los Cabos, Now Sapphire Riviera Cancun, W Mexico City and Hyatt Regency Mexico City. She executed asset management of all hotels and oversaw the accounting and financial teams, ensuring compliance with Mexican Financial Reporting Standards (NIF), managing banking relationships, reviewing and signing off on all proforma models and coordinating cash flow analysis with treasury. She was also a VP in JLL’s former Strategic Advisory and Asset Management office in Mexico City.
  • Ana’s operations experience started with Hilton in its prestigious “Elevator Trainee” program after which she rose in the finance ranks, holding the Director of Finance title at the Hilton Mexico City Santa Fe and Hampton Inn Cuidad del Carmen and Assistant Director of Finance at Hilton Reforma, as well as Task Manager role in the Hilton Finance Shared Services office.

Ana holds a Diploma in Professional Culinary Arts from CVCG Centro (Venezuela), a Master in Italian Culinary Arts (Italy), Diploma in Tourism specializing in Hotel and Restaurant Management from Universitat Ramon Llull (Spain) including an exchange with Johnson & Wales University and an Executive MBA in International Hotel Management from VATEL – Escuela Internacional en Administration Hotelera y Turística (Argentina).
