Sofie Issembert

Vice President

Sofie Issembert, Vice President, actively manages a portfolio of assets to maximize the investment value of properties on the East Coast and in the Caribbean. Ms. Issembert is responsible for preparing owner reporting and related investment analysis, annual budgets, and all day-to-day asset management tasks. Ms. Issembert also participates in advisory assignments, including underwriting and due diligence for client acquisitions, operational reviews, proration schedules, and management contract consulting.

Prior to joining hotelAVE, Ms. Issembert held various roles in the real estate and hospitality industry, having worked for both branded and independent hotels. At the Sheraton New York, Ms. Issembert completed several Six Sigma projects and kaizen events for various departments of the hotel, improving labor efficiency, guest folio reporting, and chargebacks. At Starwood's corporate office, Ms. Issembert was a member of the Global Learning & Development group where she worked on global training programs, including the St. Regis Butler program. Her hotel experience started at a boutique hotel in New York City, the Shoreham, where she worked primarily in the sales department but also did brief rotations in reservations and housekeeping.

Ms. Issembert is a graduate of Cornell University’s School of Hotel Administration with a minor in Real Estate. She is also a member of the Cornell Hotel Society, the Cornell Real Estate Club, and the Hotel Asset Managers Association.
