Peter Laack, Vice President, is responsible for leading and managing the advisory assignments of hotelAVE. He currently provides advisory assignment supervision, support, execution, training and mentoring to a team of associates. He is also responsible for internal and external client relations and identifying new consulting assignment opportunities. Mr. Laack is based in hotelAVE’s Providence office.

Prior to joining hotelAVE, Mr. Laack worked at Interstate Hotels & Resorts, where he lead and managed the feasibility process for the world’s largest third-party management company. Before his position at Interstate Hotels & Resorts, Mr. Laack worked for HREC Investment Advisors, one of the largest hotel brokerage and advisory firms in the United States. While at HREC Investment Advisors, Mr. Laack was involved in the analysis and/or transaction of lodging real estate valued in excess of $2.5B. Mr. Laack began his career with Hospitality Real Estate Counselors, where he provided specialized consulting services exclusively to the lodging and gaming industries. This included real estate and business valuations, market impact and feasibility studies, litigation support and investment analysis.

Mr. Laack has over 15 years of experience in the lodging real estate industry, with a focus on feasibility, valuations, transactions, operational reviews and management contract negotiations. He graduated from the University of Denver in 2000, where he majored in Hotel, Restaurant and Tourism Management.  Prior to relocating from Denver in 2005, he was a frequent guest lecturer at his alma mater on the subject of hotel feasibility.
