Patrick McMonigle

Vice President

Patrick McMonigle, Vice President, has more than 25 years of hospitality industry experience.  At hotelAVE, he is actively involved in the asset management of multiple assets and is responsible for maximizing the value of those assets.  Mr. McMonigle also participates in underwriting and due diligence for client acquisitions.

Prior to joining hotelAVE, Mr. McMonigle worked for Rockbridge, where he asset managed a 32-hotel portfolio, including debt and equity investments.  He had direct oversight of investment partners and third-party hotel managers, was the lead on capital projects, monitored and oversaw the performance of assets, worked directly with hotel management to implement strategies to enhance profitability, approved annual operating budgets, and negotiated ownership PIPs and franchise agreements. He also led company asset management initiatives, including real estate tax, energy management, and franchise reporting initiatives. Previously, he held positions with Finnell Consulting, Deloitte & Touche, Holiday Inn Worldwide, Kenneth Leventhal & Company, and Hospitality Valuation Services (HVS). 

Mr. McMonigle graduated from Michigan State University’s Eli Broad College of Business, majoring in hotel business with a concentration in real estate.  He is currently a member of the Real Estate Investment Management Advisory Council at Michigan State University.  He is also a member of the Hospitality Asset Managers Association and has been a guest lecturer at Michigan State University.
