Andres Ramirez, Senior Associate, has more than four years of hospitality industry experience domestically and internationally, in various cities across Mexico. He provides strategic asset management support to a portfolio of hotel properties and consulting projects in New York and Mexico. His responsibilities include preparing operational reviews and strategic plans, conducting ROI analysis, building hotel pro forma models, and underwriting hotel acquisitions.

Prior to hotelAVE, Mr. Ramirez worked as an Analyst at Jones Lang LaSalle. There, he helped to structure and execute the business in the Mexico City office and created asset valuations for multiple hotels in Mexico from market studies to selling of assets using discounted cash flow, income capitalization, leveraged IRR, comparable sales and construction cost techniques. He also developed pro forma financial projections and input financial data from P&L statements into valuation models. Previously, Mr. Ramirez was a Revenue Management Assistant for Hilton Villahermosa and Conference Center as well as the Four Seasons Mexico City. His duties included creating budgets and collaborating with the Directors of Revenue Management to optimize revenue. Mr. Ramirez also worked as Assistant to the Director for the Ramirez Family Business.

Mr. Ramirez is a graduate of Cornell University’s School of Hotel Administration. He is fluent in Spanish and speaks basic Portuguese.
