The firm is in search of a highly motivated, creative and proactive professional to join our firm as VP of Advisory & Acquisitions. This individual will report to the Executive Vice President of Advisory & Acquisitions and be an accomplished detail-oriented professional with a proven track record in the lodging sector and demonstrated associate and client leadership. This role will entail carrying out advisory and acquisition assignments for our internal and external clients, while actively coaching and training team members, and ensuring highest level of quality of the deliverables. The ideal candidate presents an experience oriented knowledge base of market dynamics, buy/sell transactions, financial analytics, benchmarking, hotel operations and the hospitality industry.
This position requires a disciplined and pro-active individual who can tackle numerous projects simultaneously. A typical director’s portfolio is comprised of 3-5 assets for which they are providing support with the key objectives of 1) protecting the asset through conscientious capital expenditure planning and 2) enhancing asset value through product positioning, revenue maximization, cost-effective operations, and ROI opportunities.
A Director position in areas of revenue management. This position requires someone with great flexibility and initiative who is eager to deepen their hotel revenue management and asset management knowledge. This position reports directly to the SVP of Revenue & Distribution, works with different asset managers, and is responsible for identifying revenue opportunities, quantitatively supporting and working through the hotel operations teams to maximize total revenue to support our owner’s financial goals.
This new position is ideally suited for a professional who is completing 1-3 years as a real estate analyst and/or a lodging finance/operations role and realizes the hospitality sector is your passion. This role requires someone with great flexibility and initiative who is eager to expand developing a knowledge base in all components of hotel real estate capital structuring, acquisitions, operations and brands through working with the “who’s who” of private equity and operators of lodging assets in the US, Latin America and Europe.
